These simple, gold-embossed business cards for a Tel Aviv-based women’s fashion label distill a sophisticated identity into elegantly restrained references to the clothing’s detailing and stitches, and pattern cutting guides. Cleanly-embossed fine golden lines contrast with black sandgrain-textured paper to communicate a sense of luxury and make a reference to textile textures in clothing.

Project Description
Solis is the fashion label of Tel Aviv-based Lisa Grishakova, a women's clothing designer who balances texture, colour and pattern to create her collections. The label's new identity draws together and subtly conveys the high quality detailing of Lisa's garments, the warmth and radiance of the brand name and familiar fashion sensibilities, through the combination of a weighty 540gsm Colorplan material choice with an embossed surface treatment, foil print finish and light, consistent, single line weight letters and illustration.Production Lesson(s)
