Project Description
We came up with the original tagline "Don't wait for inspiration just Doodle" (with Arabic and English Typography-lettering) and printed it on wood jotters. It is used as a promotional gift for the book release (Mawahib: The Talent Directory). Since the book is intended for creative people we thought the jotter is an ideal item for making quick sketches, doodling and writing down ideas.Production Lesson(s)
A nice typography on the screen doesn't mean that it will come out nicely when printed on an item. We've experimented many fonts (sketch style) to finally select (Sketchetik) which gave the look we are seeking in small sizes items. Since the jotter is in pocket-size some of the other typography didn't really show the texture of sketching when we re-sized them.
