Isn’t there something unique about the attraction in between screen printing and kraft paper? I believe so. Anyhow, this branding for Brookelyn Photography is playful, yet clean, elegant, fancy, and it surely stays out of the realm of photography-related visual components. This packaging includes an outer box, card, CD sleeve, and a custom-made notebook that makes it fun for couples to record their memories and stories.

Project Description

Brooke Fitts of Brookelyn Photography wanted to refresh her branding to signify the personal warmth of her photos while reflecting her urban and modern sensibilities. We worked with Brookelyn to create a flexible logo system which transitions smoothly from a simple DIY stamp on craft envelopes, to custom letterpress business cards and thank you notes.

Brooke returned to Hum Creative for custom packaging to accompany her photo CDs. We set out to create a branded gift worthy of the beautiful photos the packaging contains. Brookelyn’s identity extended to an outer box, card, CD sleeve declaring “you look so good,” and a custom 32-page notebook designed and written by Hum.

The “Love Wins” notebook encourages Brooke’s clients to record stories and memories of their life together —the perfect accompaniment to the photos of their special day.

Production Lesson(s)

This packaged set was printed and sourced with multiple different vendors. It was a challenge to match the multiple kraft papers and inks, and in fact, we never got a 100% match. A major goal for this project was to create a kit that would be easy for Brooke to produce as-needed. Aside from the 'Love Wins' Book, each item was produced either in small-runs or assembled by Brooke herself. Brooke is able to apply stickers, washi tape, and stamp additional elements to further customize her collateral.”
