BMW M6 The Making of an MPRINT

Project Description

Paperreka spearheaded a collaboration with 11 designer friends, all graduates of the School of Advertising Art, to create a limited edition letterpress calendar. They call themselves the 12 musketeers, aiming to defend the honor of letterpress and all things hand printed. Production Lesson(s)

Even with the best of budget plans, timelines and everyone's full commitment, passion projects on top of full time jobs and freelance are very challenging. From a production standpoint we learned that Amelie (the 1906 Chandler & Price press) can only handle so much of a solid color on uncoated lettra paper and that we could have shown more finished product shots on our website. No matter what, we are proud and looking forward to next year's 12 musketeers calendar.
