Project Description

NIS has many faces but only one central design element, the diagonal. It is present throughout the entire CI: derived from the logotype's N, the concept of the diagonal covers everything from web to interior. We will give the identity a distinct personal touch by attributing 6 personal colours — 1 per employee. A console-style typography will reference the company's line of business. The system itself assures precision and accuracy and conveys the concept of strength in numbers; paper and eco-friendly inks ensure a CO2 neutral production and help us meet the highest environmental requirements.

Production Lesson(s)

It was difficult to print with a consistent paint application because of the diagonal elements on the backside. We have to print it twice with a 50% paint application to make sure that the color won't fade on the square corners. And it was also very difficult to hit exactly the corner spots. To make sure that the backside won't be visible on the front side, we have chosen a paper from lakepaper named blocker with a very high opacity on 100 g/gm. ”
