When it comes to designing for ourselves we want our clients to know a little something about us outside of our profession. Our business cards were the perfect opportunity to achieve this. A list of four things we enjoy can be seen on our cards which was made possible with the help of some tight registration by the printers. A cautious warning about the card can be seen as well, similar to that of a coffee cup.Production Lesson(s)
A lesson learned on the process of letterpress is that the caution disclaimer was originally supposed to be a blind impression, but the text was too small to be readable. Blind impressions work best with large type and/or background elements.
