Project Description
I needed to make business cards for myself and the 2 folks that work with me. I wanted them to fit together as a series, but not be overt- no infographics or maps- just lovely, minimal form that explored spatiality and an understanding of print processes.Production Lesson(s)
Japanese and English typography takes 200x longer to do if it's going to be done well. I know this instinctively, but forget until it's time to start laying stuff out. Due to the underlying differences in how each of these languages is formed, you have to visually calibrate how each visual linguistic element is going to play off of the other.
