Slightly more humane than attempting to pin a tail on a donkey, this poster-cum-party favor presents a unique opportunity to express gratitude anytime of the year.
ThanksTurkey is a poster that comes with paper feathers. It is a unique way for families to share the true meaning of Thanksgiving by writing thankful messages on the feathers and putting them on the poster. In addition, ThanksTurkey is an effective fundraising tool that benefits nonprofit groups!
This project became the culmination of many design elements to create an exciting, engaging way for people to enjoy being thankful during the Thanksgiving holiday. Little did we know this project was going to be filled with subtle, yet perplexing design challenges. From determining how to “put” the feathers on the poster, to finding out how to ship such an item without causing a flurry of stray feathers, we were challenged in such a way that required us to wear a few more hats than the usual design team.
