Broad, unadulterated drifts convey a holiday/anniversary message as clear as the driven snow.
I thought blind embossing would be an elegant solution, but because the number 5 was so large in scale compared to the rest of the copy, and because I wanted a deep impression, the paper would over-crease in other ares. It took a very long time for set up to even out the impression so that every thing was legible and still had the different levels of impact I wanted. Next time, I would have the 5 and the copy made as separate plates.
