Slick and professional meets candy-coated and playful for children’s party organizer Festa das Comadres (Party of the Girl Pals, sort of). The silkscreened patterned varnish makes the card nearly lickable—but that’s for a different type of party. Using the company’s logo shape for the diecut augments the memorable brand without being fussy, a plus for anything involving children.
Achieving the perfect die-cutting was a lot of work for the silksreen guys at Zen. It took some 4-5 tries to get it right. The best lesson is to not settle for half-baked silkscreen. These guys at Zen can make tiny dots (such as in the varnish) appear very sharp and crisp like you won’t believe! And also relying on their masterful input was very valuable too.
