Since 2009 Fabien Barral has redesigned and produced a new set of business cards each year. This year he decided to have some fun by letterpressing his cards using a split fountain. If you are not familiar with the term, this is when you let 2 or more inks blend when on press creating unique impressions that can’t be controlled.
Some color mixes do not really match… I am lucky enough to have found a passionate printer who had as fun as me printing the cards and mixing colors. I designed them, and Marek is the one who ended up having fun with the printing—I am more than happy with the results…
