A matchbook that doubles as a business card and triples as a pad for writing down a name in case you forget (that never happens) all in one package sounds like a winner to me. This cool little promotional piece has some nice typography and some witty copy. Not to mention the bar it advertises is mobile. That probably wouldn’t fly down here in the states.
When my friend Mike approached me to design some cards for his ‘mixologist for hire’ business, we had some long discussions over many fine bourbons and landed on the idea to produce matchbooks instead of traditional cards. What other item is so synonymous with bars, practical, and well, flammable?
