Future A by Aaron Carambula, our house cut of Futura by Paul Renner

Resolutions anyone? If I had any, I’ve forgotten them. You know what would have been a great idea!? Compiling a list of hopes and dreams for 2011, typesetting them, then printing them as a reminder for the rest of the year. Yeah, that would be a really great idea…

To celebrate the new year, we created blueprints of our resolutions to share with our clients, friends, and family. Two different posters were designed to be divided in four separate sections, yet still be read as a whole. We created a companion website for folks to submit their own resolutions, borrow others, and share with the world.

You have to create a master on vellum to create the blueprints, so you can’t print white on black background. Also the line weight has to be at least 1px. What we really loved about this process is that each print is unique with varied amounts of mottling and hues of blue.
