First Round case studies are online PDFs that reproduce, with accompanying narratives, the original presentations made to clients showing initial design explorations for logo, identity, and branding projects.
Launched in 1977 and now with over 1,700+ people working in more than 70 countries, PATH is a global nonprofit improving public health. In their own words: “At PATH, we are a global team of innovators working to accelerate health equity so all people and communities can thrive. They advise and partner with public institutions, businesses, grassroots groups, and investors to solve the world’s most pressing health challenges.”
PATH’s CEO and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) identified the urgent need to reposition PATH as an innovative leader in their category. PATH’s leadership found a disconnect between their core attributes and how the organization was experienced. The deeply innovative, creative, and entrepreneurial approaches PATH employed were not reflected in how they looked and sounded. Over many years, and like other nonprofits, PATH kept choosing to invest in its work to directly change public health. But it eventually realized that branding also deserved significant investment.
You are buying access to see the PDF on this website and will not be able to download it to your computer. This is not because we are mean or don’t want you to have nice things but it is the one key agreement we made with the designers/design firms and their clients that have granted permanent access to their first round presentation who prefer that their files are not floating around in computers worldwide. It’s an understandable request and a fair compromise in exchange for getting the opportunity to see these presentations.
After you have purchased a case study you will need to be logged in to see it and it will appear on this same page you are on right now. The first time you purchase, you will be automatically logged in but future visits or visits on another device, you can log in with the button next to the logo on the header.
