Kristen Cesiro is a creative leader who thrives on building in-house teams that make products and brands feel alive. As Senior Director of Duolingo’s Design Studio, she leads a 50+ person team behind some of the company’s most beloved moments—animations, sounds, app icons, merch, office spaces, brand activations, and more. Before Duolingo, she was a Creative Director at Medium, WeWork, and Homepolish, shaping how each brand evolved visually and strategically. Her formative in-house role was at Gilt Groupe, where she learned the value of setting a high bar for craft. Based in Brooklyn with her family, she spends her free time chasing her kids and the city’s best babka.

Greg has been at Duolingo since nearly the beginning, helping shape the brand’s visual identity. He designed Duo and the rest of the Duolingo characters, using them to push the Duolingo brand and product in new ways.
