BRIEF
A logo that reflected the nature of their label: minimal, mellow, and “all about the music.”
APPROACH
I thought about the somewhat meditative/unhurried aspects of playing records: putting the needle down, flipping the record over, etc. Vintage stereo equipment came to mind, such as old speaker grilles. I then created three letterforms out of a grid of dots (“a,” “h,” and “r”) and composed them in such a way as to give a sense of a turntable tonearm/needle.
