Established in 1994, CNET is a website dedicated to tech product reviews, news, price comparisons, free software downloads, videos, and podcasts. This redesign marks a return to CNET’s original logo that was replaced from 2008 to 2011 by the before image. Here is our report from 2008. The logo was originally designed by Pentagram.

Established in 1998 ARCA is a technology company that supplies cash automation solutions for financial institutions, retail merchants and self-service kiosk systems. Customers include banks, retail stores, gaming and park facilities, car washes and companies use that kiosks for self-service checkout and bill payment. New logo was designed by Indicate Design Groupe.
Established in 2002 in Sydney, Australia, Atlassian is a “private, global software company that builds tools for software development and collaboration.” Their products range from project tracking tools to collaboration and Wiki tools to development tools and they can either be installed or hosted on the proverbial cloud. Atlassian now has three offices around the world with 400 employees and over 27,000 customers. This week, Atlassian introduced a new logo. Tips of who designed it are welcome.
Introduced by Google this month, Dart is a new “programming language the company hopes will help Web application programmers overcome shortcomings of JavaScript.” Story here. Of interest: The logo, designed by Michael Nieling of Ocupop, was first sketched while sitting in the audience during the Brand New Conference this past September.

Released in 2010, Instagram is a free app that lets you share photos with groovy filters that make your iPhone photos look better than they actually might be. With the release of Instagram 2.0 the app features a revised icon.

Launched in 2001 and originating in Romania, BitDefender is one of the leading software options for anti-virus protection and internet security, available for both home users and large businesses. This week, with the launch of its latest version, BitDefender introduced a new identity designed by Bucharest-based Brandient.
Established in 2001, ForeSee Results “measures satisfaction across customer touch points and delivers critical insights on where to prioritize improvements for maximum impact.” With 200 employees and 58 million completed surveys ForeSee Results has become one of the most reliable tools for measuring customer satisfaction and is quoted regularly in the media. In August, the company announced it would be shortening its name to ForeSee and introduced a new logo designed by Lippincott.
Established in 1980, Psion is a London-based manufacturer of rugged mobile computing solutions and devices. Way back in January they introduced a new look designed by the London office of Futurebrand. Explanation here. Detail and groovy animation below (or after the jump).
