The 2021 Brand New Conference and the six First Round events we had planned so far, first for 2020, and then for 2021 have all been postponed to 2022. New dates have been secured with all the same venues as we still have every intention of doing in-person events once again as soon as it is safe, smart, and responsible to do so.

Needless to say, it is disheartening that we have to postpone once again. The vaccine is definitely promising and gives us some optimism but not enough for this year, especially for the most immediate event in New York in May. Perhaps by October, for the Brand New Conference, there could be a sense of normalcy and the possibility of doing an in-person event but we have chosen to not live (and work) through the uncertainty of whether we will actually be able to hold the event or not. The main reason we are able to have the privilege of making this choice is because of all of you who have subscribed and supported our business through Brand New. (THANK YOU!) Coupled with the sad news that we won’t be doing live events this year, the good news is that we are focusing the majority of our time of 2021 on Brand New itself so the goal is that this site becomes an increasingly valuable (and worthy) destination for your time and money.

So, for the rest of 2021, in the words of our sign-off line for The Follow-up: we’ll be here, we hope you’ll be there.
