Word It for May
If only I could unwind the little arrows on my left wrist. To when? It all depends. When did it all start? Do I wish to go back to that second in which a decision was reached that I now wish had gone to its counterpart? Or earlier, when the whole incident was truly started? Many times in life we find ourselves cringing with what might be mild regret over an action, something said or an absence of that which should have been. Sometimes the feeling is not mild at all and it haunts us for months, years or a lifetime. It might be positive or negative, life-changing or inconsequential to all but us. In either case, regret is something we all feel at some point and we have to learn to deal with it. By doing nothing. By taking the necessary steps to fix it, so that we can forget. Regret is the Word It for May. |
