AIGA San Francisco invites you to join us for our F*in Design lecture series — three intimate, candid talks about the professional F-words we all struggle with, but seldom truly address: Faith, Fear and Foolishness

Michael Osborne is the President and Creative Director of the San Francisco-based graphic design firm, MOD/Michael Osborne Design, Inc. Established in 1981, the firm‚s work in corporate/brand identity, package design, and print collateral has been recognized by many competitions for outstanding design, including the West Coast Show, American Institute of Graphic Arts, and the Clios. MOD‚s work is on display in the permanent collections of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in New York, and the National Postal Museum in Washington, DC. MOD‚s work has also been featured in Graphis, Communication Arts, The Society of Typographic Arts, American Institute of Graphic Arts, HOW magazine, Print and Step Inside Design magazine. Michael also designed the 2002 and 2004 Love Stamps for the United States Postal Service.

Sean Adams is a partner at Los Angeles-based AdamsMorioka. The firm‚s founding philosophy of clarity, purity and resonance spearheaded a revolution in the design community from chaos and complexity to honesty and simplicity. AdamsMorioka is the author of Logo Design Workbook. Their next book, Color Workbook will be released in 2005. AdamsMorioka‚s clients include ABC, Adobe, Gap, Old Navy, Frank Gehry Associates, Nickelodeon, USC, Sundance and The Walt Disney Company.

Templin Brink Design (T.B. D.) creates highly original and effective branding, packaging, corporate identity, retail and advertising campaigns designed to increase market share and build brand recognition. T.B. D. combines the unique talents of its principals, Joel Templin and Gaby Brink. Joel is the down-to-earth Midwesterner with a taste for humor and Wisconsin cheddar. Gaby is the Swiss-born perfectionist with a photographer‚s eye and a preference for Gruyere. They met in the 90s at Foote, Cone and Belding and left in 1998 to form their own firm.
