Sorry it took me more than two months since the last bundle of bookmarks (Spain), but to make up for it here is a round-up from one of the most avant-garde design countries of them all, the Netherlands. Known (and envied) for the acceptance and relevance that graphic design has achieved at the government, business and cultural level, the Netherlands has long fostered an environment where graphic designers can expand on their visual languages and develop design solutions that in other parts of the world is not seen at such high volume. Not included in this post — since I’m sticking to the premise that I only include whatever I have bookmarked in the last year — are some of the most iconic designers or design firms of the Netherlands like Experimental Jetset, Total Identity (formerly Wim Crouwel’s Total Design) or Studio Dumbar, so just worth mentioning them here so you wouldn’t think I’m oblivious to their existence. Enjoy some Dutch design, then.
