Lost Prada Glasses, Brooklyn, NY
AN EXPERIMENT IN INTERNET CHIVALRY
The reading glasses pictured below were found on Friday, March 21, 2008 on Prospect Park West, on the side of the park, somewhere between 9th and 12th streets around 8:00 a.m.. Instead of just leaving them there waiting to be crushed by a Bugaboo or bike, or chewed up by a dog or pigeon, they were picked up in hopes of finding their rightful owner. All through the magic of the internet and the generous linkage of those interested in solving a good cause. Even if the owner does not read this, perhaps a friend, or a friend of a friend will.
In theory we should only receive a single e-mail claiming ownership — the chances of two people losing their Prada glasses outside of the park on the same day seem as possible as being eaten by a shark and hit by lightning on the same day — and we’ll be happy to return them. If we do get more than one reply, we will ask for an approximate (or exact) confirmation of the prescription; we will stop by our local optometrist later today to get them “appraised.”
If these are your reading glasses please let us know.

AFTER TWO WEEKS, NO LUCK, BUT HERE IS SOME INTERESTING FEEDBACK
[PRESENTED ANONYMOUSLY]
Whilst they are not mine I would like to point out if the person has lost their reading glasses how can they read the site?
These are not my reading glasses.
Not mine indeed, but I am curious as to how this will turn out, neat idea!
I don't know whose glasses they are, but my friend lost her credit card in Manhattan the other day and somebody found her on Facebook and sent it back to her. Doesn't really help you, but it's promising. Good luck!
not mine.. but amazingly cool thing you're doing. hope you found people honest!
it's my glasses, can you sent me back in Serbia (europe)
Glasses are like the soul's window to the outside. Do not trap them!
Let them live freely and roam the streets as they choose. They are no
different than you or I.
