CLIENT

Type Direc­tors Club (TDC) is an inter­na­tion­al orga­ni­za­tion sup­port­ing excel­lence in typog­ra­phy, both in print and on screen through arti­cles, videos, com­pe­ti­tions, and mem­ber­ship information.

BRIEF

The Type Direc­tors Club asked us to design the call for entries for their 60th annu­al com­mu­ni­ca­tion design com­pe­ti­tion, and 17th annu­al type­face design competition.

APPROACH

We designed this pro­mo­tion­al post­card to be dis­trib­uted at con­fer­ences. Hid­den in the post­card is html code that, when entered into a brows­er, trans­port­ed the view­er to a film we pro­duced and “hid” on the Inter­net. The film includ­ed inter­views with design lumi­nar­ies regard­ing typog­ra­phy and encour­aged the view­er to sub­mit work to the competition.
