Jeff Rogers is a mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary design­er and illus­tra­tor spe­cial­iz­ing in cus­tom let­ter­ing of all shapes and sizes. Stock­ing his Brook­lyn, NY, stu­dio with paint brush­es, pens, mark­ers, and a cou­ple of humon­gous com­put­ers, he cre­ates unique and joy­ful work for a wide range of smart clients.

BRIEF

Cre­ate a set of var­i­ous paper prod­ucts to aid in the pur­suit of max­i­mum hol­i­day cheer.

APPROACH

The approach to this piece was to use many dif­fer­ent print­ing meth­ods to cre­ate and exu­ber­ant set of paper prod­ucts with the goal of mak­ing them feel as hand made as pos­si­ble. The art was all hand craft­ed and the print­ing, with the excep­tion of the newsprint wrap­ping paper, was all done by hand. The hol­i­days is about mak­ing human con­nec­tions and being togeth­er with friends and fam­i­ly, so the idea of using hand-craft­ed mate­ri­als hope­ful­ly helped peo­ple spread some non-dig­i­tal hol­i­day cheer a brought a per­son­al touch back to those human connections.
