APPROACH

The pur­pose of this piece is to show­case and cel­e­brate the work of Michael Crich­ton Photography.

One of the challenges of this book was creating the custom metallic ink shade used on the inside cover. The rock used for the pigment of this ink is very difficult to source and it takes time to produce within a small hand-made operation. When I was supplied with just one small can of ink, my pressman gave me a look only my mother could appreciate. Nevertheless we pulled it off.
