When beginning this project I wanted to work with a local business in Milwaukee, WI. I chose to re-brand Rishi tea because I felt that their logo had a dated quality that did not identify them in the tea market. I felt that many tea brands were creating energetic, uplifting and eye catching designs that made them stand out against other products like energy drinks and coffee. I felt that Rishi Tea’s brand identity was too muted and organic compared to other products on the shelves. I wanted to aid them in branding towards a younger demographic rather than the traditional British tea feel.
