For my project I picked Maruchan Ramen and instead of the typical college audience I targeted mothers and health conscious people looking for quick meals. We were also asked to design the product within a series so I designed three flavors of soup bowls and a box which would hold 5 noodle packs.
I approached the project with hefty amount of research. I tried to figure out what ramen the noodle could be if approached right. Once I realized it would be a unique fit to target a mature audience, I started a type study that would fit the audience. I created the dishes and shot them myself, although not as tasty as they look they had the feel that I was looking to achieve. Modern, light, and deliciously easy to make was my goal for the new Maruchan Ramen.
