Approach

I felt like Franzia boxed wine had a package that had a more upscale and classy feel to it when in reality Franzia isn’t typically considered an upscale wine. It usually has a younger audience, and is enjoyed for its cheap price. I wanted to make it feel classic, but in a fun, less serious way. I toyed with the idea of drawing inspiration from 70’s poster design but ended up going for a more kitschy diner feel.
